Joshua Letendre
Joshua commenced his educational journey at MacEwan University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting in 2019. During this time, his passion for teaching emerged while leading management operations labs. This led him to pursue a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan in 2020, solidifying his commitment to both accounting and education.
Post-graduation, Joshua successfully passed the CPA exam, earning the CPA designation. His career spans roles in public practice with a focus on Agriculture and Indigenous audits. Recently, he transitioned to Not-for-profit work and entrepreneurship, showcasing adaptability and a commitment to positive impact.
Currently serving as the Executive Director of New Buffalo Education Circle, Joshua is dedicated to supporting Indigenous learners in higher education. He also contributes to CPA Alberta's Education Foundation and Special Olympics Alberta. Outside his professional endeavors, Joshua connects with his Métis heritage through fishing and hunting with his family. His diverse journey underscores dynamic contributions to education, profession, and community service.
